Details:
We had space reserved for lots of people. Beautiful park.
Facilities included: picnic tables, grills, a covered eating area, a bathroom with flush toilets, swimming, hiking, boating, and fishing (with license).
The Mulhollands won the prize for coming the longest distance: George and Carla are from Washington State! Boyd Leeson thought he was going to win that one, having driven in from Ontario, Canada. Sorry Boyd. However, Boyd did win the Trivia Test Contest. Raplh Corner won the Tallest Collector Award. Kathleen Eovino won the Show N Tell Award by bringing a Blue Plain Dispenser. It was a good idea for her to keep it wrapped in plastic because others were drooling over it.
Five new members were added at the picnic. The weather was great and so was the collecting.

Master Chef? John Korbler

Pictures! Pictures! Pictures!
Jerold Foster was a surprise attendee. He won the award for most colorful shirt, made by his wife Barbara. He and his wife were the first to arrive at the picnic. Bill Braithwaite, who also attended last year's picnic, is shown here wearing an M&M t-shirt and his green M&M Collectors Club Charter Member Hat. New M&M Collector's Club members John & Louise Lindquist have their backs to the camera. Mark Berry brought samples of this year's Christmas M&Ms. He's standing with Jane Lewis. In the background, George Mulholland checks out some M&M items on the table. Another new member discusses collecting with Ginny Wolfe. Robin Korbler and Boyd Leeson compare notes. Ruth Graul looks over some M&M items. Dan Wolfe aims the camera for a picture while Barbara Scitney admires someone's display. Karen Meadors, a.k.a. Tabberone, discusses fabrics with Barbara Foster who made the shirt her husband was wearing. New members, The Williams Family (Alan, Alan Jr, Tammi, and Taylor), enjoy the eats. Boyd Leeson, wife Laurie, and Kathleen Eovino talk collecting with Dave Archer. George Mulholland checks out the latest book on M&Ms while Linda Sorens chats with Ginny Wolfe in the background. Robin Korbler jots down informations while new member Laurie Riggleman waits. Dave Archer comtemplates the day's activities.

All and all, a fun day. We hope you enjoy being able to see what happened and to be able to connect name to faces.
